Fenugreek. It's a digestive medication with a huge side effect ..... lactation. Lots of women (including me) have taken it to help increase milk supply when breastfeeding. I would start off with 4 capsules- with each meal. And pump every 3 hours if possible. The fenugreek will stimulate your mammary glands an dpumping will help with let down, etc.

Yes, totally possible... research relactation and adoptive breastfeeding. If women can nurse their adoptive babies - when they've never been pregnant, it's possible to get back your supply. Even if not fully - 50/50 breast/bottle is still awesome!!

Putting baby to the breast using an SNS (supplemental nursing system), pumping, and using some herbal stuff will be the most effective.

How long? Depends on how you go about it, and your body's response.

I don't know how long it will take, but I know it is possible. Even a woman who's never breastfed before can lactate. You just have to let the baby nurse to make your breast start producing. The Le Leche league would be a good place to start for info. Good Luck!

Ive heard of adoptive moms who are dry using nipple stimulation (like pumping) every few hours every day until it stimulates production.

I think theres also hormone therapies to help, but that might be wrong. Ask your OB.
