Do you go the next step and consider yourself butch, fem, etc? What would you consider yourself beyond the general answer, if anything? (Add your own subcategory as well)

I admit to being gay, but I do not believe it goes further than that for me.

(EDIT) Macaroon! Is that a challenge or an invitation :)

Also I agree in that I am Carl before anything else and that gay is just part of me, but I am interested moreso in inner classifications.

no, i am who i am, i dont even consider myself gay other than the fact that i love men. it might be hard to believe, but being homosexual is such a part of my life that it feels completely normal.

I am "Roj" first, then about a half million things that also include being homosexual. Sorry, not subclass.
...just doesn't suit me. I must admit I sometimes get annoyed by people who have to wrap themselves in the rainbow every second of every day. I prefer to reserve the right to be as butch or queenie as I want at any given time or as the wind blows!
Did I mention I work in construction? lol
Good question. :)

I've been trying to figure myself out by finding all the right labels, but I just recently realized that thats impossible...because I just AM, some days im more feminine, some days more masculine, some days i feel like i want to clean the whole house and some days i feel like laying down in a bag of rubbish, putting up my feet, grabbing a drink and relaxing. I have both feminine and masculine qualities, all in this one female body. lol
So I'm just not gonna try and label myself any more, I'm just gonna be myself, whatever that is. :)

Like most people I wear a myriad of labels. "Bisexual" is only one of them. I don't identify as butch or femme beyond that. But I do wear other labels like wife, mother, student, business owner, lover, etc.

My sexual identity is only a small part of who I am, as it should be for all of us.

I'm a feminine lesbian who loves women period. They can be fem, stud, versatyle, tomboyish, whatever. If you're sexy, you're sexy...flat out. I'm not hung up on labels, BUT seeing as how there's a label that fits me rather well (ultra femmy), then I do use it as a descriptive whenever i'm asked. But for eveyone else, to each his or her own thing!

Who has time for extra labels. I hate labels anyway. It's a full time job just being me. The fact that I'm gay is only an aspect of me, but not the only aspect.

I am queer. I can be femme, which I am most of the time, but I can be a little Butch too. So I am just a lovely queer girl, that's my label.

I personally don't define myself unless as anything other than a lesbian but when I am with my other gay friends and around new gay friends and they ask then I define myself as a femme.

i think of you will possibly desire to communicate over with a therapist.. maximum probable a gender therapist.. so which you will open up and decide what you experience and what you're somewhat.. and then the sexuality may be the common area.. take it straight forward.. and bypass with the bypass.. have somebody you may communicate over with.. somebody who is familiar with approximately those stuff and is familiar with..

Nope, I'm just a gay grrl if one is merely referring to orientation/gender. I'm not butch, I'm not femme, I'm just me.
My personality is another story totally!
