Would you? If you could live with no laws, pay no taxes, pay for nothing, no government control, have true and absolute freedom to do as you like? You would only live with (or near) who you want to. Like your parents live 2 miles away, you live with your wife and kids. Your brother, sister, and best friends a little ways away, everyone important to you would live close by, so you can visit and share the love of a family. The thing is, you would need to do most things on your ownvor help from family, to hunt, farm, and gather for food. Build you own house, collect water, make clothing, etc, so everything you need and want, you or your family will make or do the action that's needed. Would you give every "thing" up? explain thoughts.

hey, be a little more imaginative, I'm not saying anarchy, say the person lived by god's law, by the bible, and all things that he does are considered good. I know this isn't the way of the world now, but think if it was, would you then give everything up? I mean you could make more things, and everyone else important to you would be there, and none of the bad people, gangs, killers, rapists, criminals, violent and luting anarchists, wouldn't be able to find you (like an island). Answer the question in a more idealistic way.

No. To give up everything is not freedom, neither is anarchy freedom.

It's scary to see what our younger generation considers freedom, and explains why they are so quick to give it up.

No! I would prefer a dictator to anarchy that is why governments exist. To provide for common defense, promote general welfare, and to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our children. If we have to pay something for it that's the breaks. If we have to put up with a politician we don't like it's worth it. To live in a nation like the U.S.A.

You can live like that somewhere in the world but what happens when the radical front comes through pillaging and burning and they are so massive you can offer little resistance . All you own is burned your children are dragged off as slaves and everyone else is shot. What's that kind of freedom worth then? That's how half of Africa lives. Haven't you heard of the wars in north Africa where millions of dead citizens washed down a river. Or of the Congo in the early 60's when millions were slaughtered by Communist rebels. Give me a stable government any day.

No thanks I'll pay my taxes, and obey the law, that's how civilized people live together in peace. There is no absolute freedom anywhere on this earth. For some measure to exist somebody has to have an army with big guns. Otherwise we are over run by somebody like the Iranians. The most dangerous nation on earth, having sworn to wipe out the west and dominate the world and with nuclear weapons and they have the people to do it. Some evil force is always ready to fill the void peace leaves. History tells us so.

As for living by the golden rule you may be good enough to do so. But, mankind as a whole is to evil to manage it. There always has to be an enforcer. Government was instituted by God himself. See Romans chapter 13. It implies even an evil government is better than no government. We don't live in an ideal world. It has been touched by evil and the landscape is still littered by evil.

NO, and Double no , a place with no laws, You would never have anything. someone could walk in and just take all you have and nothing would or could be done. Who would build roads and schools or pay for your teachers and police force or fire department with out tax dollars to pay for them. You would have true freedom to get murder. You talking about the days when people had land Barron's. Because the one with the money would rule and everything you had was his property kind of like slavery. True freedom just to work.

No.
For one thing, with the population, how is this even a possibility? No laws also means total and complete chaos.
You want to go back to the old west or the wild west.
What if everyone wants to live in the same places?
Are you going to tear down the existing infrastructure?
Do you think the wealthy and powerful would allow this to happen? I realize that this is hypothetical but it's too simplistic.

NO. Americas not perfect but it's better than anarchy. Gangs would rule and our precious families would be subjected to constant violence. I know they're not always the most reliable but I feel comftable with a police station up the street.

i say no because i agree we would not be safe. but are we now?
so yes i would if we could be sure we would be safe. if all i had to do is worry about my family and everything we need and life would be based on our work and our play and there was no one to tell us we cant do what we want then yes. as long as i knew we would be safe but that cant happen because people now adays are not nice and know how to get their own stuff they would rather steal and kill.
