I wouldn't want to throw them away and let loose all those hormones into the water or earth. What do I do with them? Take them to a pharmacy? What do they do with them?

Actually, I don't use them, and haven't used them in years, hence the word OLD.

Unfortunately, you've been letting out all those hormones in the water anyway. Don't you pee them out into a toilet? Don't you sweat them out in your pores, then wash them down the shower drain? Sure, bacteria eat the poop and pee and sweat and make it all clean again, and then the water (with hormones in it) goes into a little lake or pond somewhere where the hormones usually screw with the fish life.

take them to the pharmacy, or i am sure you could probably ask your dr. where to properly dispose of them.
