at a certain point in the game they will iBB him because first base is open and he does not have a lot of protection in that lineup
Soemtimes the don't need the extra baserunner and the last time i checked bonds can't hit the ball all that well b/c all he trys to do is hit homeruns and do it for himself and that is one of the prime reasons why the giants are so bad this season besides the fact they have not pitching they have the most pointless lineup in the league with durham roberts in your lineup in front of bonds is not going to work and I forgot to mention randy winn can't forget him
so basically they dont do it all the time because they want to pitch to him and some liek the challenge or their manager wants to go after him and get an out to get out of the inning quicker
its all about winning the game
everyone except barry bonds team is worried about winning the game
its like bonds and the rest of the guys dont even make an effort
bonds just needs to hit the hr and then move on to Arod for the next 5 years.

It's because pitchers have to listen to their managers due to if their team is still in contention for a playoff spot. If not, they'll go ahead and pitch.
The retarded people just want Barry Bonds to boost up his Walks record with intentional walks every time he's up. They don't realize that they're helping Barry out with a record! Anyways, baseball pitchers are not stupid like the Barry haters here. They have millions more braincells than the haters, who have to wear hockey helmets and ride in short yellow school buses.

So you just want to walk Barry Bonds everytime he comes to the plate? What if there are already runners on? So if Bonds leads off the bottome of the 9th in a tie game, you're just going to put him on base? So teams are supposed to sacrifice winning games just so Bonds doesn't set the record? Give me a break.
He's going to break the record. Get over it already (not just you, everyone).

The objective for every team is to win the game. He would only be put on base as a result of an intentional walk under certain circumstances and not every time he comes to the plate.

If you paid your hard earned money to see history, would you want to see a guy get intentionally walked, no. People pay to see Barry hit the ball not walk so as a fan, you have to appreciate that. Would you pay to see your favorite player to be walked intentionally everytime, no.

No. You develop a valid factor maximum pitcher will pitch around bonds an purely approximately unintended intentional walk. Why attempt to quit some thing which will take place, i think many pitchers might desire to declare they confronted bonds no longer i walked him.

The smart ones will walk Barry. He will get 756 off of some rookie who is wanting to say that he struck out bonds. Plus, you cant walk him everytime there are some situations where you have to pitch to him. But, if the bases are empty i would walk him.

If I was a pitcher, I would give him a meatball just to be known as the pitcher that bonds hit number 756 off of, I would want to be part of history.

The Giants fans will hang rubber chickens up along the railing in the outfield. No pitcher wants to be known as a chicken.

Because they want to win, and walking a batter changes the whole inning. Plus we would have to hear Barry b*tch about it every day if that happened. I would like to see a couple bean balls, but thats just me
