Call your internet service provider..they should be able to help you.
I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, and it turned out my computer was not "pinging out"...meaning I had connection to my server, but my computer could not connect with websites.
I wound up doing a PC Restore to clear up the problem.

Your LAN is connected to the network, but Internet is not working. The first thing I would check is to make sure your are being assigned a valid IP address. Double-click on your connection icon in the system tray, click the support tab, click the Repair button. This will attempt to renew your IP address.
If this does not work, go back into the connections window and click on the properties but, double click on the TCP/IP settings, and make sure both the IP and DNS are set to "automatically obtain..."

Most likely your system is not resolving names.
It could be your assigned DNS server or the lack of assignment.
Run ipconfig /all from a command prompt and check if you have DNS servers assigned and note the IP numbers.
You can ping them (ping x.x.x.x) to see if they are alive and try that IP number from your web browser. Most DNS servers have a web page. If you get a response, the problem is somewhere else.
If you don't have DNS servers, try to renew your DHCP lease using ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew. The renew itself should work but it's safer to do the release first.
If your assigned DNS servers are not working, you can get some by yourself. But you have to get the IP numbers in advance. Check your network settings, let the system get IP numbers automatically but set the DNS servers manually.
The DNS servers are assigned by your ISP and should work all the time. However, things go wrong sometimes and the servers can fail all togheter. Here's one from my list of spares 64.76.16.42.
Remember to set it back to automatic once they're back in service. It's better to have the DNS servers closest to you and your ISP's are.
If reconfiguring your network is too complicated, just wait. Your ISP is going to get them back online soon.
