We know that George W. Bush and his administration has made countless errors that have cost many lives. But has the President actually lied to the people? Or has he just thought he was telling the truth and been terribly misguided?

Its one thing to be delusional, and another thing to knowingly lie.

What do you think?

I don't think he has knowingly lied. Been misguided and given bad information certainly, but he thought it was true at the time.

I don't know where you have been living, but there has never been a politician in this country who has told the truth to save their souls. They were elected on promises of reform for the normal everyday people. Have they ever gotten any reform passed that has affected the majority of the population without lining their own pockets with ill-gotten wealth? No. And until the American people wake up and make them accountable, nothing will ever get done. G.W.Bush promised the people in New Orleans that the Government would make sure they got back on their feet. So far nothing has been done on a large scale and very little on a smaller scale. G.W.'s promises are just smoke. Why are we in Iraq? We aren't there to 'save' the people, we did that when we found Saddam Hussein. Now that he has been put down, why are we still there? It is up to the people of that region of the planet to take care of their own problems, not us. Just because they have oil, doesn't give us the right to tell them how to live, what to believe in or anything else. Yet, Georgie keeps on insisting that if we don't pacify Iraq terrorists will keep killing Americans. Let me tell you something, we have been killing ourselves for a long time now without any help from terrorists. Look at pharmaceuticals, the number 4 killer of Americans is prescription drugs, I don't see Georgie doing anything to stop the pharmaceutical companies from putting out more bad drugs, do you? So yes, he is, has been and will continue to lie to the average American because he can. And, on top of everything else, the average American will believe him because they were taught to not think for themselves, but to believe that their leaders always know what is best, which is to screw the average American and put more money in their respective pockets. Think about it! Of course, this is all only my opinion.

In October of 2006 Bush pronounced to George Stephanopolis, "the approach in Iraq has in no way been stay the course." That replaced into in direct opposition to Bush's very own recorded statements countless cases in develop of this. That makes it a pretend fact - aka a lie. yet it extremely is just one minor occasion. As others have pronounced, he lied distinctive cases approximately Iraq and WMDs. case in point, interior the State of the Union address while he pronounced that the British government had found out that Hussein had sought yellow cake, he knew that the CIA had debunked this declare and for this reason he couched it using fact the British government had found out it, using fact the Brits have been nonetheless unaware that the strategies replaced into in accordance with forgeries, and by potential of asserting that the Brits had found out it, he felt he replaced into coated. yet in view that he knew the declare replaced into fake, it extremely is nonetheless a lie. Then there are a lot of turn-flops which mean considered one of the two contradictory positions he espoused replaced into no longer his easily place, so he lied approximately it. case in point, he as quickly as pronounced he had in no way seen evidence that the 9/eleven assaults might have been prevented. His genuine quote replaced into, "I’ve seen no evidence in the present day that pronounced this u . s . might have prevented the attack." yet in protecting his instantaneous surveillance software, he pronounced, "it extremely is declared that previous to the assaults of September the eleventh, our government did no longer connect the dots of the conspiracy. … as a manner to steer away from yet another attack — in accordance with authority given to me by potential of the form and by potential of statute — I easily have authorized a terrorist surveillance software…" So that's it? Does he think of the assaults might have been prevented had they had the surveillance software in place (and by potential of ways, new evidence says they had this methodology earlier 9/eleven/01) or would not he? additionally, Bush vowed that if any member of his cabinet replaced into shown to have leaked data on Valerie Plame, they could be fired. properly, Cheney nonetheless has a job and Karl Rove only in the near previous stop. Is that sufficient, or do you like greater specific examples?

Yes he has.

When President Bush said, "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa", he had already been notified that the document was a forgery and was advised not to include this information in his State of the Union address, and he did it anyway as a justification for war.

Maybe he hasn't actually LIED to the people. He may have told a few white lies...you know, as the truth may hurt us at times...but I for one, am very grateful. I am very grateful that America stands strong. I am very grateful we have troops who are willing to fight and I am very grateful that Bush is not running an oppressive government. This country truly loves freedom. We have it A LOT better than other people. I hate it when people complain about not being told the truth and being oppressed. Dude...the government is not your best friend. They will obviously not tell you everything, but think about it. This country is great. Most people lead good lives, and most if not all, are free to say what they wish (even if some words may be looked down upon- we're only human). We should be grateful for this nation. We have it very good as compared to some other countries...in fact, MANY other countries in the world. Back to the question...yea, he might've made a few errors, but he's only human...but I don't think he's ever actually lied. He may have hidden stuff from us, but you know, there's always a reason for things.

He appears to be incompetent because he doesn't represent the American people. He is doing a bang up job moving globalization along. People just don't know that he works for the globalists.

When he says cheap, third world labor does jobs Americans don't want it is a blatant lie.

Judging purely on the intellect of George Bush, I would say he was delusional. I bet even his advisors know that they are smarter than him. The man is simply not clever enough to create schemes to deceive the people.
