unattractive to Americans who would want to teach. I am NOT saying foreign teachers are not as good, and many do have a great command of English, but if you go to a teacher's workshop in Miami, you'd be shocked at some of the "English" the teachers are speaking. I don't know how they passed the essay test.

well this country is recruiting doctors and other professionals from overseas. one of the biggest complaints that i have heard from patients is that they can't understand them.

i had a japanese professor in college and trying to decipher his english was an adventure. he would wake you up if you were sleepy when he would pronounce cortex as cotex.

I haven't seen this in my area but I agree that teachers need to make more for all the work they do. My Girlfriend teaches high school and works much longer hours than I do and contributes a lot of her own money for supplies. Some of the teachers I've meet are brilliant and no doubt could be making much more in other areas. But I guess they are doing what they want to.

Kindergarten-establishing math, studying, social knowledge, obstacle fixing, plenty of stuff. Gotta deliver them plenty of credit score. No means might I wish to be in a room filled with 6 12 months olds!
