I am getting tired of this. I've seen a lot of questions and a few answers that show that there are still Suns fans that won't get over. Not only that, the Horry incident happened like, 3 months ago! Why can't you guys forget about it and move on?

Sun fan is just miserable because they haven't won anything. They need excuses for losing so the Horry incident is as good as any. Now there using the referee thing as well. It will never end. It happens in all cities. From Jordan's push off. The phantom call in chicago. It actually gives people something to talk about. Every town has a story and a team they hate. The Spurs included.

I think it is because the impression that is coming from the organization is that the Suns still have not moved on. If the fans feel that the team is still dwelling on that incident then so will they. The latest statement I heard about this was Steve Nash talking about the dubious events that ended their season.
The best way for the Suns and the fans to move past this is for Nash or D'Antoni to come out and say that regardless of what happened, the team was taking responsibility for the loss. They should say that in spite of the events surrounding the series, the Suns had their chances to win, but failed to pull it out, but that they are looking to improve and win a title. If the fans see this then they will start looking forward to the future rather than rehashing something that's over and done with.

Suns got robbed by a crooked ref and getting suspended for breaking a rule and blowing a lead and losing. Its all someone elses fault. Now Im gonna sit at home on the internet and pout about it forever.

Suns lost to a better team. They cant beat San Antonio in the regular season either. Get over it.

I know Jazz fans that still complain about Jordan's push-off on Byron Russell for the game-winner. You know what? We're all getting tired of this. I'm tired of Spurs fans bashing on everyone else just cos they stole a championship. You took the rings, everyone(Yes, many of the Spurs haters are non-Suns fans) hates you, and you just can't accept it. People hate you, get over it. People hate Barry Bonds and he's getting on with his life and writing his name in the record books. You Spurs are winning your championships yet you're all such whining pansies who keep complaining about being hated. I agree that the NBA is a very rough league and there is little or no place for clean play and sportsmanship. It's expected that the Spurs can win playing dirty, and some Suns fans are stupid enough to think that dirty play doesn't get rewarded. Reality check: It just did. Many championship teams had guys who constantly hit below the belt. There's no place in this world for an idealist. Believing in the integrity of the sport, lmao. Where the *** do all you romanticists live anyway? Mars? People lie, steal, and cheat all the time, and no one's getting punished for it.

By the way, don't you find yourself rather hypocritical? Whining about how you don't like other people whining? That's why I hate the Spurs. I hate the Nets, Raptors, Lakers, Mavericks as well, in case you shoot your mouth off thinking that I'm hating on your Spurs singularly. God damn it I hate Vince Carter the all-dunk no-game guy. And I hate the Lakers fans and all their whining about Kobe and idiotic trade suggestions. If it were so easy to get any other team to give up their stars in exchange for shitty contracts your management made mistakes in, you wouldn't have to be posting ridiculously stupid ideas in yahoo answers, you Lakers *********. I loved the showtime Lakers, but after Shaq the fat left, it all went downhill. It's the lottery life for the Lakers, mark my words.

Because those Suns fans can't get their heads around maybe some team is better than them, particularly not one as "boring" as the Spurs. So they try to come up with excuses on why the should have won.

edit:
Sure he was wrong, but you guys act like you've never seen a hard foul before. Also don't blame the the suspensions on Horry blame them on Stoudemire and Diaw, who even though they knew the rules, they broke them and paid the consequences. Or do you want special treatment for your own players? Then everyone will want special treatment for their players and it will all go downhill.

Because the franchise has been around for forty years and hasn't won a championship and last year was the closest they will be in the Steve Nash era. Plus they are whiny. Last year, when the Mavs won the West, I saw a fan crying on TV. It was hilarious.

That was like ten years ago. Danny Ainge was the coach. I don't think there is one player on that team that was there when that happened. I think Steve Nash maybe have been a rookie or something.

My bad I was thinking about when He threw the towel in their coaches face when he played there. Look that's NBA basketball. Maybe if they played any defense it would not have come down to that.

Because Horry was in the wrong for what he did and the Suns were penalized for his wrongdoing. It shouldn't work that way.
This might be difficult for you to understand since you are a Spurs fan. You have to play within the confines of the game.

The Suns were robbed of a championship by that incident & by Tin Donohgy ref scandal who purposely got all of their team in foul trouble.
