I just moved into this apartment complex. One of my neighbors is a nutcase. She doesn't work and does nothing all day but snoop into people's business. She keeps leaving notes on my door and following me.
What should I do? How do you deal with a person like this?

File a WRITTEN complaint with the owner or property manager. Consider a restraining order.

save all the notes and take them down to the police station and ask for a restraining order. Take video if necessary and ask her in front of someoen not to leave notes at your door. Not a big deal to get a restraining order, as long as you are not provoking her. Make sure that any time you speak to her its in front of someone so there is no question as to what your relationship is to her. Good Luck

Talk to the complex manager.
I would just ignore her. If stalking is what you think this is there are stalking laws. I live in Pennsylvania so you would have to check your local stalking laws and see where they are at as far as your situation is concerned.
Google stalking laws for your state.
Print them out and leave them on her door. Maybe then she will get the hint.

Report it to management and make copies of the notes to add to the complaint.
