Is Arveda, CO a safe neighborhood?

I have quite a few friends who live in Arvada and it is just as "safe" as any other neighborhood anywhere else the the world. Property crime, theft, burglary... they happen everywhere. Violent crime in Arvada is lower than most places.

I can't find any recent statistical data online that is earlier than 2004 but I am sure if you do some searching you will.

Just use your common sense while out and about.

Arvada is a good city and has a lot to offer. As with many municipalities there are the better affluent neighborhoods and other areas which are less than desirable. Arvada as a city is great! To be objective regarding a specific neighborhood is difficult with the broad question asked.

It's definitely a safe neighborhood. If you're looking for an apartment, check out http://www.hubbuzz.com. This is a great site for finding an apartment, especially in this case because the site originated in Colorado and has detailed descriptions of neighborhoods and such.

Arvada is a nice northwest suburb of Denver with great mountain views. I'd say it's a pretty family-oriented, safe town. Lots of upscale new homes being construction in the western part.
