Best thunderstorm I've seen was when I was living in Northumbria England and I could see the ocean from the second story of my flat. The lightning tickled the ocean like a magic static ball. Never seen a more impressive light show.

Yes! I jump and sometime let out a squeak if the lightning hits too close, but there's something in the power of the storm that's fascinating. I love falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and thunder in the distance.

♥ You know I used to hate thunderstorms [[thunder & lightening are scary]]. However we had a storm here a few days ago and I actually stood outside on the steps watching it for a good 20 minutes... it was actually fascinating.
