My husband and I will be living overseas in Egypt for awhile, it could be a few years even. We'll be living in a small town so it's really impossible almost for me as a woman to find a job. Are there any ideas out there for projects, online work, or just what i can do to occupy my time while he's off during the day at work?

therez a lot of things you can do if you're really serious about it and if you have the energy to make it happen.
1) Start teaching english to egyptian gals at your home.
2) or some other skills that you have.
3) start painting or some other hobby.
4) make a small community of foreign wives who live in that town and have meetings and stuff.
5) start teaching cooking classes.
6) join an online college or university for courses.
7) start writing a book about egypt.
8) adopt an egyptian kid. it'd take a lot of your time and you'll soon be looking for any free time you can get.
9) start a charity for the locals.

I would KILL to go to Egypt! Start a scrapbook. Add lots of pictures and turn it into an exciting book about Egypt. How fortunate you are to be going there. You'll see the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx up close. Any chance of me taking your place? Seriously, take your camera with you and be the eyes for those of us who can never make such a marvelous trip!

Learn a brand new language to shock hubby whilst he comes residence. Get into the city plenty extra. Even if you do not keep, looking men and women is intriguing and also you get into conversations. Do they've Wive's Groups at the base? You sound as though you wish to have organization.

This may sound odd, however I always wished I had the time to make lamps. You probably would be able to find some really unusual and pretty things over there to make them out of. I think you are lucky. Hopefully you will find something fun and creative to do.

wow, I would take the opportunity to visit the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. If you are into archeology maybe you can find a local group that will let you go on a dig with them.

Get involved in volunteer work. or maybe get involved in the street market industry, if u are good at making something make a bunch and open yourself a little business in their street markets and enjoy your self. u may find that u have little time on your hands while he is at work. enjoy egypt and please be careful and safe. god bless u on your new journey and life...
