Probably. Lets look at Arod for example. So many people hate him for the money he makes, bad playoff performances, etc. But, since it is being estimated that if he stays healthy he has the best shot at break bonds's record, i have seen him treated publicly a lot better. But if it is a player like Sosa (dount it, but using him as an example), it will be a continued example of what is wrong with Baseball, and the public outcry will be loud.

I don't know. The pursuit of this record has been covered in controversy and pain the last two times it's happened. First with Aaron and all the racist stuff he had to put up with and now with Bonds and steroid controversy.

The next time it might be AROD and he's not exactly the most beloved person, either. Maybe it will once again be filled with animosity.

Barry Bonds is not hated. Fake bandwagon fans make it appear so. Last I've heard, prescription drugs are legal to take, just like how the HGH and steroids were prescribed to Barry and he took them.

I'd like to see some solid proof that Barry cheated or disgraced baseball. No one here will be able to provide it because of limited intelligence. My proof is that the players that were busted having drugs in their system couldn't perform like stars which shows that steroids and HGH will not help you hit HR's.

This is another question where the asker is a coward and can't even say Barry Bonds' name within the body of the question.

A-rod, who is on pace to get over 800, will definitly get more support than bonds. A-rod isnt a cheater (although he did swat the ball out of Arroyo's glove). Bonds was not a nice person to the media, ect. and i think A-rod will get more supports just becasue hes clean and talks to the media.

It depends on the player but I would say he would get much more support as he attempts to chase down Bonds, who many people don't like.

Yes, unless he was hated like Barry Bonds, or accused of using steroids
