As a long time Singapore resident and familiar with it's history I have no idea what you are talking about.

First when Singapore joined Malaysia it was a British Colony and as such had no control over any other domain.

Second the only territory I know of coming under govern-ship of Singapore was Christmas Island. That duty was passed to Australia in 1957, six years before Singapore became part of the Malayan Federation.

If there's any merit to your suggestion I would appreciate knowing more about it as I love Singapore history.

Thanks

Yes. See how we've progressed? Only 40 years and we're already a developed country, which is very fast. Thanks to our education and labour laws and all. Besides, even if we didn't take control of these areas, Malaya wouldn't have really given us much freedom too. Remember the Utusan Melayu incident? Remember the calls for Minister Mentor Lee's arrest? Many small things accumulated to become something bigger. So it was a wise decision to control our education and labour which make our people smarter and more sensible, and not uneducated and all, like how some villages of Malaysia still don't get proper education.

particular, Temasek became the call till now that and later it call Singapura after the Sumatran prince chanced on a lion working on the line he in basic terms based for the period of circa final decade of twelfth Century. yet that purely a legend. As for the 1st call ever spoke of down became rather by a chinese language Schloar reported as Tao Yuan Ming for the period of Ming Dynasty and he reported as Singapore "long Ya adult adult males" (Dragon tooth Gate). Singapore became purely named Singapore after Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles arrive in Singapore in 1819 that transformations the call from Singapura to Singapore.

i think during certain periods, it's not up to you to decide whether it's a right decision to give up control over any areas but rather, you have no choice to decide otherwise.
