Nope, that would not be a good idea.

At first thought, yes, I want to know how and when I will die. Death is my ultimate fear at times...it's not that I am scared of death per se, but the how and the when is what scares me; the mystery and the unknown is what scares most people. It's human nature.
But when I think about it, no I don't want to know when I will die. If I learned that I would die at age 30 in a car accident, I would just waste my life trying to prevent that incident from occurring and probably never go in a car again...
I just want to make the most of every moment I have in this life, because you only live once, and you might as well live your life to the fullest..cliche I know, but that's what I live by.

Your question does not admit to the idea that birth and death
are considered to be a part human existence. That the former is the begining of life, therefore, their is much joy and celebration.Whereas, death (or to die) is considered the cessation of life, resulting in mourning, grief and a sense of loss.
If a person were able to accept that physicallity does not constitute reality, and that birth and death, are but phases of a Parenthesis in Eternity, that Life is Eternal, then such a person would not be concerned about knowing that they were going to make the Transition (which the world refers to as death),but would welcome the Transition to a higher state of Consciousness, and will reincarnate ,if they have further lessons to learn,or have not surrender their belief in two powers and dependence on materiality.

It would be interesting and a good thing because then everyone would live there life's to the fullest and not take anything for granted. Myself though I don't think that I would want to know when because I would just be so scared and not knowing the way I am going to die makes it even scarier.

Heck no, that would take the fun out of it. But seriously just having that information would make a person wacky counting down the day's. Plus you would try to do everything you ever thought you wanted to do and it would end up being the ultimate countdown and scary too.

Ugh, this is one of those questions where I could ponder it every which way and still not decide.
In a way, I kind of would like to know to be able to say good-bye to my loved ones, but on the other hand, I might just want to die peacefully unawares.
I think that every person has different opinions on this matter

Only if I was going to die young. i wouldn't want to know the exact age or date though. It would allow me the opportunity to live a little bit more, instead of worrying about saving for retirement.

No. Life is to short I definitely would not want to know that. If I knew that I'd spend the rest of my life worrying about when i'm going to die.

Yes and no. It would be good to know when you need to have everything organised by, but can you imagine knowing when? You would be just waiting for the day. That would be horrible.

No, that final day would be worse than waiting to into hospital for major surgery. I prefer to be blissfully ignorant of my limited time in this world.
