Do you take off your shoes when you enter the house or no?

everyone in my house takes the shoes right after entering the door, but i know other houses wear shoes wherever.

i dont wear shoes lost my legs in Nam,but yes most people take they're shoes off,I usually have to wipe the wheels of my chair,been rainning for days*!*

If I am wearing closed toed shoes like sneakers and dress shoes, I take those off right as soon as I get in the house. If I am wearing flip flops or sandals, I don't take those off as quickly. I HATE wearing shoes, but unless I HAVE to wear closed toed shoes, I wear flip flops, sandals or no shoes at all

Yes I do and so does my family. If we go to someones house I always do and my husband and kids do if there are shoes at the door or if they are dirty.

shoes off shoes on, has more to do with the carpet and the folks who live in the home. shoes off some places shoes on most places.

I find it rude or inconsiderate when people do not take off their shoes inside someone else's home?

I mean you're walking around outside stepping in grease, chewing gum, spit, dog poop, mud, or who knows where and then out of laziness, carry this dirt onto someone else's carpet.

I do but I put on my slippers after (I don't have carpet in my house I laid ceramic tiles throughout, only the occasional rug so I like to wear slippers)....when I go to most friends and family members I don't...only to my Sister in laws house do I ever take them off as its more cultural to do so....so I respect her house and do so.

I don't take them off right when I get in, but after a while i take them off so my feet aren't trapped in shoes and get smelly.

I take my shoes off when I come in. (I'm not fond of shoes) I also follow the lead of my host or hostess when I come into their home.
