I was wondering if anyone would know a safe way to take tree sap off of my truck? I know WD 40 and lighter fluid takes it off of you hands and stuff, but not to sure its safe for the paint on my truck.... I've tried a lot of stuff from the part stores and those don't seem to work that well... Thanks!

Did you try bug and tar remover? When you get it off, be sure to put a good coat of wax on it to help the next time it happens.

From experience, try and find another parking spot or trim the trees if you can.

No other chemical even gas - is safe for this on your clear coat

There is only 1 thing that will not harm clearcoat PREP-SOL

If you go to a body shop they will hook you up with a rag loaded with it - get all the spots - then go wash the car to get the smell off

Try a clay bar, sometimes called california clay bar, comes as a kit with a detailing spray that acts as a lubricant.
