Is it possible that Hillary has not divorced Bill over his many affairs so that the stigma of a divorced woman President would not hamper her political aspirations? Think of it......the first woman President.....and divorced! The stigma of that just might have kept Hillary with Bill all these years......for we know she has desired the White House forever.

She stayed with him because she knew if she divorced him the first time he cheated on her she would still be in Arkansas as an unknown name. But she knew if she stayed with him she would be able to put a foot into the political door. That marriage is a huge sham. Why divorce him when he is a ticket to the white house and/or at least some political position to become known all the more. You can look at the both of them together and you see no love at all, just a marriage for public eye and a marriage for one another's gain.

What century are you in? No way could they raise the divorce specter. You have a twice divorced Newt, and a once annulled from his cousin, once divorced from the mother of his kids Rudy, If two men who have been married six time between them can run for office, surely in a country where most people get divorced a woman could run with only one measly divorce to her background. The idea of stigma of divorce magically disappeared from politics when the first divorced president, Reagan won.
Just as many say that she stayed with him to win the presidency, as say that she should have left him to show her independence.
Those who know her say she respects her marriage, even if Bill didn't, and she loves him. Ask any woman who's man has ever cheated and yet she stayed, and you'll hear the same thing.
Theres not one politician in the entire country who would turn down the presidency, lets stop pretending that shes some kind of power-mad crazy. They all eat, sleep and dream of reaching the presidency, and their spouses all plan what they will wear to the swearing-in ceremony

Chelsea is doing just fine, she graduated college, like her father shes also studied in England for a time, and has a full time job in NYC, shes a very sane and likeable person.

The only divorced person ever to hold the office of President was Ronald Reagan, but that was tolerable, because the divorce occurred more than 30 years before he was elected, and he had been married to Nancy most of that time. The Republicans are no one to lecture Hillary or anyone else on morality. John McCain cheated on his physically disabled wife because she was no longer pretty enough or rich enough to satisfy his political ambitions. He played the field and then dumped her when he found a younger richer woman whose father was alleged to have connections to the Jewish mafia in Tucson. The young, rich woman is a smart cookie, though, because she made the senile old lecher sign a pre-nuptial agreement, files separate income tax returns, and will not even tell him how many houses she owns. And then, for "family values," the Republicans tried to give us the Palin Family, the trailer trash from Wasilla, and paraded the buxom pregnant unmarried Bristol, and her baby daddy, Levi, on the stage at the 2008 Republican Convention.

I believe she has kept Bill for her to gain power and position, as the US hasn't been ready for a woman president. But now a days, when people said in a poll that they didn't think honesty was a necessary credential to being in an office, then who knows, maybe divorce and sleeping around would get the vote.

Absolutely. People bash Bush for mispeaking every now and then, so I can't imagine what a divorce would do to the public's view of a president.

i think of it relatively is the worst element that would in all threat take place in an election. Canidates might desire to be chosen with the aid of fact they might do a sturdy pastime. some each and every physique is announcing that if McCain wins it relatively is purely going to be yet another white guy in place of work. and that i say who cares? the nice and cozy button is that the president might desire to have the journey to steer our usa and McCain purely has greater journey and can desire to do a much better pastime.

That's not true I believe she stayed with Bill because she understood how evil and crooked the Republican party is.She is smart enough to know that the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal was a set up created by the Republican party. No matter how religious, honest, and faithful a man is when he is put in to a vulnerable spot by an attractive female he will lead in to his temptation 99.9% of the time! Any man who says otherwise is lying, but what else would you expect from a Republican?

With the frequency of divorce as high as it is in the United States, it should not be harmful. It's part of our reality today, just as sure as faith based initiatives underwritten with taxpayers' money are.

Maybe they resolved it through forgive and forget so they can get on with their lives, including Chelsea. Wonder how she is doing?

They are also people and should be able to work out their personal problems as they see fit.
