im thinkin to buy a xbox 360.. but im not plannin to invest in a expensive tv.. i only have a basic television.. do u think its still worth buyin a 360 if im jus gonna play it on a old tv?

The graphics may not be as good as they could be on an old tv but the gameplay will still be the same. The X360 supports older tv's as well as newer hdtv's so you will be fine. I am running on an old 20'' tv and my games are fine.

I've been playing mine on a standard TV since I got it (a little over a year now), and it works great. Granted, playing on an HDTV is absolutely incredible, but a regular TV will still give you an awesome gaming experience. Enjoy your new console!

Should be fine, but you may consider just getting a Core or Premium/Pro model instead of the Elite. The biggest perk (in my opinion) of getting an Elite is the HDMI video output, but without a proper television, it won't do you any good.
