Distribute:
14x - 21 = 20x
Subtract 14x
-21 = 6x
Divide by 6
-21/6 = x
-7/2 = x = -3.5

2. 14x-21=20x 2. Distribute by multiplying 7 on 2x and -3
3. 6x=-21 3. Subtract 14x both sides
4. x=-21/6 4. Divide 6 both sides
5. x=-7/2 5. Divide 3 numerator and denominator
