Absolutely none. Your card is not charged until the car is returned. There is no way to reserve funds on your card. It is either charged or not charged. That being said. Once you have the car you have agreed to the term of your contract. So they are going to take your money.

I am not sure about credit cards. But I know with a Check card, they will put a hold of about $250 to $300. Or, they have to me in the past.
