For a bit of controversy George Bush and Michael Moore.
For laughs Billy Connelly
For chance of a cat fight Posh Spice and Rebecca Loos
For me George Clooney
For some after dinner entertainment Rod Stewart.

Not too keen about having dead people at my party so I stuck with the livewires.

I know that I may get the thumbs down but I would love to invite Maggie Thatcher. I would like to put a few questions her way and also to find out how she feels about the running of this country today.

I would also like to invite Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis as I think that they were the best double act in those day. Also Dean Martins voice can melt butter.

This is a list of people that I want to be at one dinner. I don't even have to be there, as it isn't about their celebrity, but about their voices.

Christopher Walken
Joe Pesci
Morgan Freeman
James Earl Jones
James Woods
Michael Jackson
Sean Connery

Get all of these people, sit them down to a nice dinner, and start a political debate. Abortion. Darfur. Homosexuality. Immigration. The bible. Get them talking about passionate subjects...can you IMAGINE how these voices would sound debating?

I think it would be fabulous.

Paul Newman, Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, Brad Pitt I know you said one person but I can't choose, I'd also ask Richard Burton if he was still alive and fictional characters I would invite would be Sherlock Holmes and Angel(the character David Boreanuz played on TV)

Wow, a tricky one this, assuming it can be anyone , dead or alive!
I would invite Paul McCartney as I would love him to chat about his beatles days and relive them for me as I missed them! And I would like to know all about that gold digging ex wife! He could dish the dirt on her and then in contrast, tell me all about Linda too, as I belive she was his true soulmate.
Also he seems like a genuinely nice guy but I'd struggle with the menu as he is veggie and I do a lovely roast!

I would most definitely invite my personal Peter Parker/Spider-Man himself, Tobey Maguire, to my dinner party.
