the yin yang sign teaches me that even the best of people have a small dark side, and the worse have a small good side... yet we always have the choice to be on either sides... every decision we make brings us closer to one side rather than the other... lol

Yes and no... Decisions are not made in a vacuum... Intention cannot be overlooked... The life circumstances of some put them on a path of making decisions which, although they appear bad and not made with bad intentions...
Yesterday, here in Philly, there was a severely mentally ill guy who was shot and killed by the police because his meds were "off" and he took a knife to himself and then pointed it at the police... This is a situation in which EVERYONE did something bad without any bad intentions (or at least we hope so)...

Of course. Further, we are all born as total narcissists, that is totally self-centered. Maturity is defined as overcoming that narcissistic tendency and caring for and about others. It still PO's that child inside, no matter how old we grow. Age does not define our success at this beyond a certain point. The real bummer is that as we get into our later years, we grow back toward that original state and become more childish. Still, life is mostly a gas! peace

I think most people are basically good Charms.
I think we all make mistakes when we let our emotions and feelings run away with ourselves and don't stop and think first about what we're saying or doing.
The decisions we make is part of what defines us, so are the friends we keep, and the way we live our lives..through the examples we set and the challenges that drive us.

Exactly! I believe unless you are born with some type of shortcoming then we all are born with the same capabilities, but from that second on we start limiting what we can become! Our parents begin to limit us from birth because they only teach us THEIR beliefs and THEIR language and the way THEY survived! It would be interesting to see how it would have been if these minor limitations were non - existent! The more you grow,... the more time and experience effect your choices and if your experience is different from mine then your choices will probably match your experience which makes things more person specific!

no evey one is born very pure and clean,a child has no bad at all,its the society, his "mental filters" that adds some badness in him but it again depends where he is born ,if in religous atmosphere or in a street as an orphan etc.
BESIDES not always our decisions make us diff but our behaviour counts becoz it is visible to all as some times good ppl r also identified as bad.

Yes I do. I believe that we are the choices we make. We all have the potential to do good & bad. It's all about our choices.
