Yeah bro, I'm with you on this one.
Same thing happened to me. I heard it, and I figured since I was gonna get vaporized anyway, might as well go out with a bang. Well, a pre-bang anyway.
So, within 20 minutes, I figured that was about the time I had left, I called my ex-wife and told her all the things I wasn't allowed to say during the divorce proceedings, called up my bank and told them that there was no way I going to pay the mortgage and if they had a problem with that, then they could just shove it.
Then I went over and kicked over my neighbors mail box. No real good reason, I just could never stand him.
Then I went to the 7-11 and cleared their shelves of Twinkies and Snowballs. Didn't pay either. Never did like Hamid. The screams of "Infidel, infidel thief" were music to my ears as I ran out the door.
Alas, it was a false alarm. Now I have the police at my door wanting to talk to me about that incident at the 7-11, my ex-wife's' attorney is going to file a motion to increase her spousal support, my neighbor has been taking pot shots at me as I move about the house, good thing he's blind, and the bank has started foreclosure proceedings.
Do you think I can sue the broadcasters for false reporting?

Where I live they actually do have the nuclear escape route still in place and marked on the highways. The media also does test once a month alerts the public if any routes have changed. This is all because of the local military activity around here.

LOL--
My school is so old it actually has a nuclear bomb shelter.
We use it for storage now for reading materials, the offices for the custodian and the school psychologist meets down there once a week (there's gotta be a hidden meaning in there somewhere...).
I prefer to use the "wet newspaper over my head and hide under a table" technique for nuclear attack.

No, that's never happened to me. What did happen was we had a strong front line wind of 80 plus miles per hour hit us unexpectedly, and with no warnings at all! Our little city just about got blown away.
