Women don't 'turn' into lesbians. A person is born with their sexuality. Whether they try to hide or suppress it, or not, is up to them.


Answerer Thunderscream, what is wrong with you? Did you get rejected by a lesbian, or something? Sounds like you have a personal beef with lesbians somehow. As for your "4 reasons":

1) Approximately 10% of women are lesbians (same percentage as the rest of the population). I'm sure a lot of men would 'like' to have a lesbian girlfriend, but it's not going to happen. Kinda the definition of 'lesbian', the whole not-desiring-men-sexually thing.

2) Lesbians are not "more likely to be involved in domestic violence", you twit. They actually have a lower chance of domestic violence. Research before you open your yap.

3) Nope, wrong. Lesbians have a lower instance of extrarelationship sexual activity. They're also the lowest risk group for STDs. Again, research, kid.

4) Pleasing a woman in bed is not about gender. It's about knowing what a particular woman enjoys. Many, many, MANY straight couples use sex toys in bed, too.

The funniest part of your diatribe, is that women who are actually of lesbian orientation don't "go back straight". The women who "go back straight" are those who are experimenting with their sexuality. Your stupidity makes me sad.

two answers here.

1) the gradual progression of society into becoming accepting of a diversity within sexuality means more people feel more comfortable about "coming out", and that these people aren't "turning" lesbian, they've always been lesbian, and are just coming out now, or:

2) coincidence, you're in a area with a higher proportion of lesbians born than in other areas, or media coverage is more exaggerated, so more people seem to be gay than there used to be, when there really isnt.

fyi, the majority of people don't "turn gay", there might be exceptions, but the vast majority are being born that way, they don't suddenly undergo some sort of metamorphisis when the moon is full like you do with lycanthropy.

It was always this way, only now in our modern times it is much easier to express it and follow this life by being honest to one's self and not hiding in the shadows, getting married to someone they don't love and have children just because they "have" to.
