It does in the sense that you can stop an argument from forming if you don't play ball. It takes two to argue. This requires patience and practice, to learn to act instead of just reacting.

IT DOESN'T FOR REAL TURN AWAY WRATH BUT IT MAKES THEM FEEL KIND OF DUMB AND EITHER THEY GIVE UP OR GET MADDER AT YOU BUT ALSO IT'S KIND OF HARD TO FIGHT WITH SOMEBODY THAT ISN'T FIGHTING BACK SO YA IS PROBABLY TRUE
