Probably, in this case, we are assuming that he hit all his home runs so far using steroids.
However we should probably look at those average hr before he started taking steroids.
Here are some figures to go with it
from 1986-2000
the home run figures are 16,25,24,19,33,25,34,46,37,33,42,40,37,34,49(according to wikipedia) (so assuming that he hits an average of say 40 home runs from 2002-2006 , this will see a reduction of about 11 home runs from 2002-2004. Which means he would have hit more than 700 anyway.
Now if he hit his regular 40 home runs instead of his 73 in 2001, that will take away 33+11 =44from 2002-2004.
Which means on the high side he would have hit at least 710 home runs.
However if we were to look at an average of say 35 home runs per game from 2001-2004. Then he would have a 38 +11+10+10= 69 reduction in his overall homerun which might give a lower bound of say 680ish to 690ish homeruns.
so his most probable homeruns should be between 680-710,assuming that he used steroids for them.

I like Thong Girl's answer.....or maybe just her name lol. I think you're about right, he would be around 600. Which really is a shame b/c he really is one of the greatest homerun hitters ever......just not the best.
Also wanted to add that maadams2004 is an idiot and doesn't know what he's talking about. Barry Bonds has NEVER tested positive for steriods b/c he doesn't use steroids during the season....any ball player will tell you that the way they do it is load up on steroids in the offseason, and then just maintain the muscle built up during the season by taking human growth hormones (HGH), which currently there is no testing for. Get with the program man, the guy cheated baseball and he cheated you as a fan. Just take a look at pictures of him as a Giant of about 6 years ago and compare with today....not even the same man. Not sure how many guys you know that continue to grow in their 30's. And about old ball players taking greenies and what not...I think the only thing that players of Ruth's time were taking was beer and hot dogs....there is your real homerun king. And its not about race, take a look around, the most popular players today are not white...Arod, Papi, Manny, Pujols, Griffey, etc.

I believe that any one has a threat to take action. People will say Alex Rodriguez, however there is no severe danger inside the tremendous names. I'd believe any individual will pop out of the shadows, shock us and move Barry Bonds up without difficulty. I'm announcing eighty HR's inside the following 2 years.

No definitive studies have been made as to how the use of drugs can make a player a better homerun hitter. In addition, no evidence as been submitted confirming that Bonds as ever had any of the (53) banned drugs, established by MLB and the players union, in his system. There is no reasonable evidence available to indicate that Bonds would have any more, or less, than the 755 homeruns he has now.

I'd say about 755 because steroids do not boost up your performance to hit HR's or pitch over 100 mph.
This is another stupid question where people don't have intelligence or proof before opening their mouths.
He took those drugs legally because they were prescribed to him. Also, MLB did not ban or make the drugs illegal. How can that make anyone a cheater or disgrace if what he did was legal? Prove it.....

755. Hitting homeruns is about eye-hand coordination and bat speed, not brute strength. Have you ever seen a checked-swing homerun? I have.
Attribute the HR's to juiced balls, if you have to make excuses, because Bonds has never tested dirty for any banned substance.

Aye, that's the rub. The problem with PEDs is that we'll never know what is, would could have been, or what will be. You're right about Bonds having fewer, and you're right that the total would still have been impressive. But the bugger is that we'll never know. All we'll know for sure is that something is rotten in baseball.

There is no official proof that he even took steroids, but he probably did, so I think that if he didn't do steroids he would be at 500 some.

He'd be a six hundred man...but there's no way he hits 755 before the age of fifty without steroids. Boooooo Barry. Way to hold baseball hostage.
