That surely is well said Abanti! I think u have found ur answer by ur question itself!
For most cases I do feel that love is blind, but for some cases, it is about a matter of priorities that u look for in a person u want 2 love, and if u do find such a person with your priorities, it may overshadow his other thousand faults!
But love in itself is a supreme power and bieng one of God's most cherished creations, I can say that it does rise above the rest and has the the power to win back even the most ruthless of people.

Love is a creation?? or attribute of God. We love because we are made in His image. However, sin has distorted this (along with everything else). So yes, when we love, we often overlook another's weaknesses & become unreasonable because of our own feelings. True love endures THROUGH times of weakness & IN SPITE OF weaknesses in another, not blind to weaknesses. So the question is "SHOULD a person love blindly?" No.

God shows you the face of dad,mum,brithers,sisters, friends etc but need the face of your partner. why? every person as a partner somewhere in the world. find that person is special because you are always wandering....is it him/her.
its not is love blind, its what your heart feels, it when you can move heaven and earth for that person. Love is not planned, calculated it happens and thats when people say love is blind because it takes you by surprise.

it is true cuz this means that love comes from the heart and not the appearance that's why we say that 'love is blind'''because it doesn't see the outside.......but the inside!!!!!!!!!!
