Do you think she is dead or alive. And if the blood is of Madeleine's, do you think that her kidnapper murdered her.

Much as I desperately, desperately hope and pray the poor little mite is still alive and well somewhere, I'm sorry to say I can't honestly believe she is. The police always state that, in cases like this, if the missing child isn't found within 72 hours, it's very unlikely they ever will be.

All I can say now is: heaven help the person (persons???) behind all this, if he/she/they are caught. There's a whole world waiting to lynch them - especially if, as many of us suspect, those behind it are very closely related to poor little Madeleine.

"Stories in the local press say British sniffer dogs detected tiny spots of blood in the Praia da Luz apartment from which Madeleine went missing just over three months ago.

The samples are now reportedly being analyzed to see whether the blood is hers."

Oh my god, how can it take this long ( over 100 days ) to determine IF the blood IS Maddy's? Why is this taking so long? Why are there no leads? I don't know if she is alive or dead, but it seems to me the investigation itself..died a long time ago.

I hope she is alive, but it does not look good. It makes me wonder how a kidnapper can break in kill a child and bother to clear the blood away, surely he would have made his exit and left the blood. Whatever else is going to come to light.

I believe Madeleine has been dead since day one. The parents know it and have been covering it up. Hence the cloak of secrecy. If the blood is hers, it could have been anyone who killed her. Perhaps the person seen carrying a child wrapped in a blanket was disposing of the body..
who knows?

i think shes still alive , who ever kidnapped her is a sik low life

something really needs to be done in our legal system

they need to catch a person like this offender , and make an example out of them , not give them a slap on the wrist , to prevent other crimes like this in the future

the legal system is a JOKE , it doesnt work to PREVENT the crimes from happening , it works to PROMOTE CRIME in order to generate income for lawyers judges ETC

If pentalties were harsher , if they made an example of a few offenders then we would see a decline in crime

in some places of the world crime is very low , almost non existent , we really ought to make some changes

I very much doubt she is alive, she was probably killed a few days after being taken.
their only hope is she was taken to be a child for a woman who couldn't have kids or something similar but the blood goes against that

The human mind is so complex...when you can't bear the thought of someone precious dying especially in such circumstances, when you have no news, its but natural to believe that she is alive.

No matter what the statistics say, until you have concrete proof, it is better never to give up hope.....especially when that is all you have.

It would be silly of the kidnappers to keep her alive as everyone is looking for her
