YES ! otherwise 'prayer' this word wud not exist in this world Its a scared gift of god to the universe do not let fear and doubt assuage u i mean believe in god and his prayer alone is the solution to each smallest and greatest problem of life We r surrounded by duality light or dark , good or bad when u go beyound duality u will be increasingly connected with depths of god Then u will be less influenced or fearless about failure or any sowrrow The heart of universe can be experienced in heart of the individual soul experience this in LOVE ,PRAYER ,TRUTH,MERCY,GOODNESS,JUSTICE AND ETERNAL JUSTICE ,will always prevail that means ur prayer will be heard and accomplish ur wish to this simply means PRAYER can alone change ur destiny if god wills to as well and if some of ur prayer is not answered than believe me there is definitely something much better for u in futrue do believe in prayers but

If destiny exists, then you were destined to pray about your destiny. Therefore, if one carries the theory of destiny further, the effects of the predestined prayer were also destined to happen...

Wow straight to the deep doctrine :P

There is a growing divide in the christian church today about God's divine will and mans free will.

Can a man change his stars, a poet once wrote. I belive that he can.

Here is the metaphor Jesus himself spoke almost 2000 years ago.
7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."

Matthew 7:7-12

I know if my son asked anything of me, heartfelt and with his best interest at heart, i would do ANYTHING for him. I am sure that my God loves me more that I love my son and would do the same.

My personal experiences say that this is certainly the case. Do what is within your power to work for good. Pray for what is not within you power, and know that with God, all things are possible.

Yes. I believe so. I have even heard stories of people with faith, even faith found on death beds, have recovered though doctors thought it impossible. Whether it is because of God, or some new determination of the human mind, people can debate, i have my views. But i honestly believe it does

Every time you pray, it scares the devil to no end. He just gets out quickly. He hates people that pray.
