It sounds like you've already accepted the inevitable, by acknowledging it. How to deal with death is another thing.

Death is the opposite of time. When sorrow comes, its bitterness soaks everything. The sages say that life is illusion, but does that change its poignancy? Let us be sad; it is feeling that makes us human. If we gain enlightenment, understanding all life to be a dream – sadness and happiness will fall away soon enough.
The greatest sorrow of life is witnessing. Experiencing our own suffering is not as difficult as watching others held in fate’s grip – so the greatest sorrow is to see those we love suffer helplessly.
When faced with a sad situation, it is best not to languish in it. We can change things by being with different people, or if all else fails, by adjusting ourselves and attitudes. Sadness is transitory, like everything else. Life’s moments are not cheapened by death. Just to observe and affirm is good. After all, death waits for all of us. Only the value we place on each minute determines the quality of life. If we can embrace that, then no one’s life is ruined by death. If we want to deflect it, we need only alter its context and allow it to be subsumed back into Tao.

First you must ask, why do these things pain you?
Why do you fear death?
It is a natural part of life that should be celebrated just as birth is.
You should remember the life they lead and celebrate it in their passing.
If you died, wouldn't you want all of your friends and family to be joyful in your memory?

Would any of these that you speak of want for you to suffer in their "inevitable" passing?

One day you too will die. Do not fear this. It will be your opportunity to release this burden of life that we live.

I have found that there is no real way to accept or condone the harshness of reality. One can only understand it, and try to cope the best way possible.

I will never accept the inevitable, but I will face it.

Ummm, realize that its inevitable. Sorry, but that's actually what works for me. Just focus on the fact that some things will happen no matter what you do, then influence the things you can affect for the better.

I accept it because death is part of life. I actually feel peaceful when I think of death. The only problem with death is that people left behind are left to suffer.

Our lives is a one way street. Not dual carriageway. No other lanes. No space for one to turn and be given a second chance.

Death is part of life, including yours. Morn their passing and move on. All living things perish.

Embrace it. You are totally allowed to feel abject misery, it is completely O.K. And it will pass.
