My friend of 15 years has just been told that her husband had a thing with his sister for numerous years until he got with her. It totally groses me out that she can even stay with him but she says that she loves him too much to leave him. they have a couple of kids together so i think that is the real reason she is staying with him. She said she just wants to forget about ever beingt told how do I go about bringing the topic up with her again to make sure she truely can deal with it all?

Considering the fact that it probably took a lot of guts for her just to tell you about it, you shouldn't say a word. Let her bring the subject up and then giver her your opinion.

Break it down to her and tell her that you don't think that she has truly dealt with that situation. Tell her that you have something important to talk to her about. Let her know that you don't want to upset her. Ask her if she really think that she is doing the right thing for her and her children. She needs to know to put her kids first and what will they say when they find out or the are old enough to understand.

Let her deal with it her way and stay out of it unless she comes to you. Butt out!

Not everyone wants others to insert themselves into their situation. Your friend will come to you if she needs you as I am sure she knows you are willing to help. Let her deal with it and you should be able to tell how she is doing.

Don't project your feelings to how she feels ... you probably have different perspectives. Give her some time!

Good luck!
