Pinkeypink..this is not how she grew up, she has become friends with this girl who obviously has a big influence on her. Nothing to do with colour or whatever. Its just not her, she is trying to be something she is not.

everyone has there own way of trying to fit in or feel like they are part of a group. she is young so that might be her way. bear with her , she will mature and find more ridiculous ways.

I've given you a star because I would like to know too.

I went onto my great nieces website and can't understand a flippin word of what her and her friends are talking about. No doubt when I ask her or her brother they'll laugh at me. "Aunty, that's the homeboys/girls talk"...then laugh their socks off at my lack of knowledge.....lol.

They're 13 and 20

you shouldn't freak out over the way people talk. because most of the time that's who they are and that's how they grew up. just because they talk different from you, it doesn't make them any different from you. you should be careful on how you word your questions, because even though your not racist, the question can come off making it seem like you are. i just thought that you could use a little advice. so just don't worry about the way that people talk. it's them. so let them be. you wouldn't want them saying anything about you talking white, now would you!!!!

If you're old, so am I. It actually HURTS my ears to hear the bad grammar and 'accent' they speak with.

If you're born and raised in America, there is no reason you shouldn't speak proper English... unless you WANT to be seen as illiterate and unintelligent. In which case, "props" to you "dawg."

EDIT: ... If you're born and raised in the country you live, there is no reason you shouldn't speak properly.. better? ^_^
