My boyfriend and have both lived in Spain, but have never made it to Portugal. We have decided to take a bus to Portugal and at this point that is it. We like to party, especially when it involves clubs with good dance/house music or a swanky bar with some cool lounge music. Although we like to party we also want to see some sights and relax as well in an area with beautiful scenery, possibly a beach. Any suggestions on what to do when you only have a week.

Where are you going in Portugal.
Lisbon, Algarve, Aveiro, and Porto have some serious clubs and Beaches. Algarve the ocean is warmer.. Aveiro has Figueira da Foz, and Costa Nova... Sights LISBON area,even though There are several places in Portugal you can take someone to see historical sights. Theres The Highest Mountain, called Serra da Estrela, which is beautiful.. but it has the smellest cheese.. BLAH
I reccommend Algarve its very Touristy and you'll enjoy it...

i just got back from portugal!!! i miss it so much. you must go tot he albufeira strip. albufeira is in algarve. it has gorgeous beaches and gorgeous weather. the strip has clubs and bars and disco clubs and restaurants and crazy, crazy, amazing places.... the prices are fantastic. and the drinks are soo good. you should defenietely visit here. it is very well known. the nightlife continues on until the wee hours of the morning, it is so much fun i wish i could be there right now.
