I am not alone I have my family unit but above all I have God
I am responsible for my beautiful kids that are not alone either because they have me.
I can depend on my husband and do so daily.
It is a very depressing statement you just made and I hope your not alone :-(

Should is a loaded word.
Human beings aren't built to be alone. When we are isolated too long, like single-person trips across the ocean where you are isolated for months at a time, we jump off the boat. Solitary confinement is considered too cruel and unusual to put criminals in for more than just a short period of time.
I'm not alone, and I'm not built to be alone. I am part of a loving supporting family, and a community. I am responsible for myself, but love compels me to be responsible for others, and it compells others to care for me too.
When I was six I had the terrible idea that everyone in the world was a robot, and I was the only real person. I have never felt more desperately alone than that. I came to a conclusion then that is beautifully articulated in "Secondhand Lions":
It doesnt matter. Something doesnt have to be true to be believed. There are things that a person needs to believe whether or not they are true. Things like all people have some good in them. Honor, Justice, Good, and Love always win in the end. True love never dies.
Whether or not everyone else in the world is a robot, I choose to believe they are people, and I choose to be part of a community with them, and love them, and receive love from them. I am not alone.
The only reason you might be alone is if you choose to be. You dont have to be.

I've always realize that for very long time.
I mean how could you not when you don't have a life partner, a handful of friends all so far away, and back home, your mom don't even understands you and she couldn't care less either, and all you are is just a target for your family to vent their anger on, probably cause you're not the son who brings back all the A's.
I'm the only one in this world who cares about me, I can only depend on me. heh.

It's a frightening realization but it reinforces why it's important to have a strong family unit and good friends. Ultimately, however, we are all responsible for ourselves regardless of other outside influences and people.

Ultimately we are responsible for ourselves, but I think you mean, in the context of a relationship. If your relationship is good, you will be able to rely on each other, but as always, one ends up disappointing the other.
At the end you will be standing alone, .... no matter what.....
Good luck
