Yes.they want power for it's own sake to try and force the rest of the nation/world into it's own very, very narrow viewpoint.
No matter how-by subjugating the laws of the land, force, etc. It is precisely what lays bare the hypocrisy behind their religious, social slogans as the basis for it all is power over others.

Or perhaps the liberals are upset because the right wingers are protecting the morality of the country.
And in this country, which is the less of the two evils? The Constitution with all its ambiguous loopholes and by laws or Morality with all its hypocrisy?
Hard to tell if you ask me. Why not just flip a coin,
Heads they win, tails we lose.

Liberals are protecting the integrity of the Constitution? How do you figure that?
Did I miss where Liberals are proposing to dismantle the various alphabet-soup of agencies with tasks not provided for in the Constitution? The DEA, the ATF, the FDA, NEA, HUD, and countless others?
Did I miss where Liberals oppose Roe vs. Wade on the grounds that the USSC made a decision on a matter that is neither within the scope of federal nor judicial authority?
Did I miss where Liberals had an epiphany regarding federal control of education?
Did I miss where Liberals oppose the various UN proposal to subordinate the sovereignty of the United States to external control?
Did I miss where Liberals criticize Supreme Court Justices, for whom the Constitution is the highest authority, propose to look to foreign law for guidance in interpreting what the Constitution requires?
Well, I guess the answer to your question is "no, they aren't upset because liberals are protecting the integrity of the Constitution".

Well Hamilton, it would seem that there are some differing opinions, but they appear to be more upset with you than the failure of GWB to uphold his oath to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution. It's a good thing they have still have that right to bear arms though... how else would they "shoot the messenger"?

Like so very many liberals, the most you know about the Constitution is how to spell it. Like very many liberals, you've obviously never read it and you obviously don't understand it. Consider all the liberal airheads calling for the impeachment of a president who has committed no crime. This ain't a parliamentary system there Moonbeam. Then, of course, you have the liberals trying to repress or eliminate the...
Right to life - Declaration, I know, but it's the one that all other rights are derived from. Without life, you've got nothing else.
Freedom of religion - A right both my wife's and my families specifically came to this country for.
Right to bear arms
Freedom of speech.
Bush, agree with him or not, has operated entirely within the bounds of the Constitution. If you spent more time reading and less time typing, you'd know that. Then you could help educate some of your little drum circle buddies.

No. Many of them would be happy under a fascist regime. Right Wing extremists are the ones who hate America for its freedoms and are doing the best they can to remedy this. Ending First Amendment rights is OK as long as, like the pigs in Animal Farm, some animals are more equal than others. I would send them to Germany in 1944 if I could.

Liberals, most of them haven't even read the Constitution. For example, during the youtube debates, Obama said, "the Constitutions says all men are created equal." No it doesn't.
Most of them want to toss out the second amendment completely. When Hillary talks about seizing a corporation's profits because she thinks the government can spend their money better they applaud. Libs in general think it's government's job to take care of people, provide charity. The powers of government are enumerated in the Constitution, providing free stuff is just not in there.

Only the 2nd amendment and article 2 need protecting. The right to be armed to the gills and the divine right of the serial monarchy.

Conservatives are all for protection under the law when we're talking about CEOs who have stolen billions, but they don't like it when we get carried away and start applying those principles to "commoners".
What a load of crap for Faux News to talk about "elite" liberals! Billy Bob just doesn't get that the Republican party is the party of the rich.
