Although I have "pity parties" and "kvetching sessions" (tr: Yiddish for bitchin' and whinin'), I have so, so many debts of gratitude for:...
1) Buddhism and how it saved and developed my life
2) loving, kind, and psychologically stable parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and all of the wonderful adults (all departed now)
3) a fantastic education (academic and music)
4) lifelong friends (Vandette, Gwen, Howard,...)
5) caring and supportive neighbors ( especially Leonard and Desmond during Dad's long final years)
6) respectful and pleasant director and colleagues (Frank, Al,& Robert and Andy& Don)
7)my excellent health, both physical and mental
8) travelling the world which made me see that people are more alike than different
9) my cats and dogs, all which have loved me unconditionally ( some here, some departed)
10) this magnificientally beautiful, historic victorian gothic home which has cradled me in security so many years (which I will soon leave for good)
Those are only ten, but I have so many more...

I am very thankful for my family, I couldn't imagine life without them. We have had many negative things happen over the years and some how have managed to survive all of them. I feel extremely blessed to have a husband support me despite all the terrible things I've done. Not cheating or anything (wouldn't ever think of it) but like mostly careless things that have costed us alot.
