It's over 3 months since she was taken, so why the long delay in looking for blood? And if it is Maddies blood, does it indicate that she was murdered in the room?

something is wrong with this blood story... I thought they had found a blanket where madeleine's corpse was supposed buried after a letter sent to a BELGIUM newspaper back in june?
No blood on the blanket. So she wasn't bleeding. So the blood found in the appartement can't be hers.
How come they found a blanket if this was a hoax?
Is it Maddie's Blanket?
How long does it take to scientists to determine if this is blood or not? Because that's the main question.

Because they were driven by the family and media frenzy that it was a kidnapping by a perv when there was no evidence to support it against any other possibility, most of whcih are far more likely on the balance of probabilities.

The Portugese police are NOT incompetent, they are just ill equipped and ill experienced to cope with such an event. However, they should have take up UK police offers much earlier as crucial evidence will have been lost and destroyed by now.

The police delayed in looking for blood because of all the lies told to them by the McCann and their party. The rest of their party corroborated their version of events and the police believed them. Numpties.

I don't know if she was murdered or if it was an accident they are trying to cover up, but this saga still doesn't sit right with me.

I'd love to get five minutes in a room to interrogate Gerry. Regardless of their involvement or non-involvement they are still not telling the truth.

Right. Lets just go to the simple question of why the f**k the parents went out and left a small child without supervision. All people want to see is some sicko get linched. Even though he or she will be Innocent. Why the blood now? Because it puts the heat of the ones who are responsible for her safety and that is her parents.

The BBC was informed by “Police officials” that blood was found within 48 hours from Madeleine disappearance and was eventually dismissed. The second review by the British Police found a substance that “could be blood” but can’t be sure 100% and they are testing it now to see if it is indeed blood. If it turns out to be blood then a DNA test will be carried out.

The PJ allowed these dogs to be sent in. They were British Dogs with abilities that normal Portuguese Police Dogs do not have.

It seems that the PJ are slowly allowing additional help from the British Police as we have far more experience in these kind of cases than the Portuguese.

Little girl, blood was found by the Portuguese Police 48hours after Madeleine went missing. The Police do not divulge details of their investigation to the media in Portugal, which is wise methinks. And i don't think she was murdered in the room...

ehhhhh, there's not a shred of evidence that this little girl was killed by her parents,

instead of the conspiracy theories why not do something to help the girl and thousands like her, there are plenty of missing kids in the UK that we still haven't heard their names in the news. go onto a missing children's site, there was about 80 missing last time I seen it, some of them haven't even reached the age of a one year old.

If i could i would electronically tag may child because the days are gone when children like me where able to play in the streets and get rhubarb from my old next door neighbour without him being a paedophile.

If you believe in God please pray for this family if you dont believe in God please wish them well. Innocent until proven guilty.
