A colleague of mine just said it, she reckons when she's angry her mouth is not her own, what do you think she means by this?

She just can't control her anger.

She means that anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind so when she is angry and says something hurtful others should understand that at that time her mouth that is saying those hurtful things belongs to someone else...the devil perhaps! In short she is saying not to get hurt by what she says when she is angry!

hmm ur mouth is always ur own but she means that when she gets angry she doesnt mean most of the things she says and she feels sorry, shes trying to say that its almost like someone came into her brain and made her start saying things she didnt mean what she said

When one is angry sometimes ones mouth engages before ones brain. After, one may regret what one has said!! That's what your friend means!!

What she is talking about is when people 'lost it'.
For some reason people have a flash point. When they reach this then they can sometimes start talking in away that is totally not "them". I have thought about this and concluded that it is caused by a part of their brain temporarily becoming active - it seems to release suppressed thoughts & behaviours.

She means the words coming from it are not the words she normally uses, but because she's angry her mouth runs away with her by using nasty words.

that she has potty mouth or says things not in her character!! when she is angry compared to what comes out of her mouth when she is normal ....

She cant stop herself! When angry you have all these thoughts in your head and even though you may not want to say them, they shot out anyway! No self control!

I think she may be possessed by demons. If I were you, I would distance yourself from her immediately.
But before you ditch her, just check for any additional appendages, or second heads etc... Also confirm that she does not 'speak in tongues', can not spin her head a full 360 and does not sport a rather fetching red forked tail.

it means that when she is angry she engages her mouth before she puts her brain in gear !
