You know it is really easy to tell who is American or Canadian. "The grand canyon". Personally I think the Sky, and beyond, is the most impressive thing I have ever seen. Some people are so self centred all they ever do is look in front of them at what they are doing, and never bother to look up and think about the immensity and beauty of things outside of their own lives and reach.

I've seen some amazing things through my interest in astronomy, but perhaps the most impressive was the sight of Earth rising as a beautiful evening star in the skies of Mars, from the rover camera. To see our world in an alien sky - amazing! And to think that a bunch of naked apes have set themselves no less a goal than to explore the universe looking for life, it's breath taking!
