Scroll lock allows the computer to stop the scroll on the right hand of the screen moving along,print screen allows you to copy all of what you see on you computer and then paste and edit it in a document.
I found this definition of the pause key;
A key that you can use to temporarily halt the display of data. Generally, you use the Pause key to freeze data that is being scrolled on the display screen. To continue scrolling, you can press any key.
In DOS, an alternative to using the Pause key is to use the MORE command, which displays one screenful of data at a time. http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/P/Pause_key.html

Scroll Lock is used on a lot of different applications such as Excel, you if your scroll lock is off you move the cursor around the page (using up and down arrows) when its off you move the page up and down,
Print screen is used to print the screen you are looking at for example if you press screen now and go into microsoft work then paste you should see this screen pasted into that word doc.
The only time i have ever used the pause key is a long time ago when you used to boot up older machines you could see the spec of that machine but the text was so fast you couldnt read it hence using the pause key paused the screen so you could make a note of the system spec.
hope this helps,

Print Screen initially used to send a screen dump to a connected printer. Nowadays, however when pressed it sends an image of what's on screen to the clipboard, and you can paste this screenshot into an application such as Paint or Microsoft Word. Scroll Lock, on the original IBM PC used to alter the behaviour of the arrow keys so that they would scroll up and down a document in the same way a scroll wheel does today as opposed to moving a cursor around the document. Pause used to be used in the days of DOS, and they will literally pause a DOS batch script. It can still be used to pause the POST screen (what you see when your PC first starts up). This is usefull when troubleshooting a problem. To resume what the PC is doing, just hit the Esc key.
