First of all,I can't believe how beautiful you are!Anyway,I would suggest treating him as he treats you.Be descreet with what you say but verbalize yourself in the same manner he/she does.When asked why the attitude,explain in a civilized manner how they were treating you.It should work.

(*laughter*) I buried her under emails and information on everything I did. She finally held up her hands and said she didn't need to see so much info from me. However, I still dropped her an email at the end of the day with a synopsis of what I did and where I was at with things.
It took a few weeks, but it worked. The minute she felt like I wasn't hiding anything from her, she left me alone. Then, I could hide things from her as I saw fit.

Keep asking him/her how to do stuff all the time and they'll get tired of micromanaging REALLY quickly.

There's not alot you can do .That's why I have always had self employment as backup businesses while I've worked throughout my life.
BTW: thanks for the comment on the "frozen/play nice" question. Did you follow the shenanigans all night on that?....Crazy !!!

just to stay true to yourself and keep working hard and doing great at your job as you always do. and even though he is not your favorite just keep going to him with work or questions on your work and keep his mind going on many things instead of just one thing here and there and that should start to change him.
