its such a horrible thing to think... but i honestly believe that due to the publicity of the case there is no chance of her ever being handed in... i believe she is dead. its such a horrible feeling. the poor little thing. what amazes me though is that nobody has blamed the parents for leaving her alone in the first place? i would never leave my children alone in a foreign place. wether i was only 5 mins away or not.!

A few days ago i was really 50:50 about it but since the sighting in Belgium which i'm sure was Madeleine, i believe she is alive and being looked after by a couple who want a child, altough the story about the blood in the apartment doesnt look too good, just hope madeleine gets home safely asap.xxx

I hate to say it but I really think she's dead. the outcome of similar cases usually end up that way - hardly ever do you hear of abducted children turning up safe and being reunited with their parents. It more likely ends with the discovery of a body. Also Madeline's case was and is such a high profile case from day one - much more publicity than normal. I think its quite likely the people that took her would have become scared knowing that there is a lot more risk of them being caught if Madeline was kept alive. I can't understand why they would have killed her in the apartment though - ti doesn't seem to make sense. If they had been watching the parents go out looking for a moment to take Madeline they would have know they were only across the road and checking on the children regularly - would they have really had time to clear up and leave no trace of a disturbance. also how did the twins manage to sleep thorough that?

As horrible as it's going to sound, I really think she's dead.I thought she was dead after about 4weeks, let alone now.
Don't wanna ruin everybody's faith, but after the blood being found and it's been so long, that poor lil girl aint gonna be found.I don't even think her body will be found.
They didn't close the airport for at least 2 days, she could be anywhere in the whole world, if she was still alive they could have made her look like a boy or anything.
And also if she is still alive, she'd have seen so much horrible stuff anyways.
Don't mean to put a downer on it....but I think she's dead.

I've given it a lot of thought since Madeleine went missing.
I'm sure everyone hope shes alive and well, living with a couple who want her and will look after her, but to be honest, i don't think it seems very hopeful... Its been too long and no real leads.
Why has it taken this long to announce that blood was found a month ago? Surely they would have found it when the forensics went in when she went missing?
Why don't Europe have systems in place like the US when children are snatched?? Could Europe be Paeodophile tolerant...?

I would like to think she was alive but sadly I think she is dead, she was probably dead within the first day or two if not in the apartment - all the publicity, etc, would have caused any kidnapper too much pressure, but I think its more obvious than that - its either she walked out and drowned and got carried away/under by current or she had an accident and it was covered up, or someone carried out the killing for their own personal motives and disposed of body. I can hardly see someone going to such lengths to snatch one child - they could easily grab a blonde haired blue eyed 3yr old girl from Eastern Europe without all this fuss.

I wish I could say Alive, but to be honest, I think Madeleine died before we even knew about her. As much as I detest the McCann's neglect, for which I still think they should be investigated, I really hope that they were not involved in anything more sinister. Poor Madeleine, I just hope that if she is dead, she didn't suffer.

I would like to think that she is alive, nobody wants to think that the worst has happened though. I find it so hard to believe that months after the apartment was first searched there is new blood found, it just doesn't sound possible! I think its such a terrible thing that months after she went missing there is no indication as to where she is or what happened to her.

Hate to say with the news bloods been found def dead its been so long since it all happened i think if she was alive she would of been found by now.

The blood could belong to anyone who stayed in that apartment, but in answer to your question I think she is dead and has been from day 1. I only hope she didn't suffer and that justice will be done very soon.
