I mean no offense to any religion, culture, ethnicity, or group. I was just curious. And I'm absolutely, positively sure that Yahoo Answers is the best way to satisfy my curiousity, in this matter.

It's my understanding that the traditional kilt does not include underwear. I am not sure whether this is truth or a myth. I tend to assume that men who wear the kilt now, for ceremonial purposes, do wear underwear.
But since I married an Irishman, I have no way of knowing.
I'll see if Pew Research has done anything on this. However, it's very tough to verify.
