Not only children, all the human being get angry when they are unable to get the things which they needed,when their wish is not full filled, when they are not allowed to do things which they want:
So if a human being is stopped from doing against wish or
if he unable to get as per his ambition
if another person get and he is unable to attain
he gets angry

We all have diverse emotions, there would not be balance if we did not. Children get angry for the same reason we all do but children have had much less time to learn to prioritise their options much less cope with their frustrations. They are much more 'immediate gratification' led.
