Do you, or have you in any way changed or modified your communications because of a fear that someone might be listening?

Thanks, Henry M.

My answer to my own question, is yes.

And I suspect that's the answer of millions of othrer people, as well.

That's terrifying.

However, I'm not so sure we should give up our right to free speech, even now.

For one thing, there are far too many HIGHLY negative statements about Bush and the U.S. Government on the Internet for the individuals to be targeted.

And the more such statements are made, the safer we are.

So let 'em have it.

They monitor all communications, whether it's phone or internet. The systems at the NSA are so powerful they can't get enough electrical power into the building to feed them! They look for select wording and phrases and then when triggered they record everything! The FCC has been listening in on phone calls since the fifties for obscene words and they recorded if they overheard one. They were required to do so by the legal charters in effect at that time.

My answer is NO, I have nothing to fear by anyone listening in to my Internet communications. Of course this may change if a Democrat gets into the Oval office and they resume their hunt for the "vast right wing conspiracy".

To Leonidis: That was terribly NOT-smart of you. I don't mean to be mean, but....are you out of your mind?

The Man positively DROOLS for people like you. Ever heard of the Patriot Act? They have EVERY LEGAL RIGHT to snatch you up right now and throw away the key. Without telling your family or allowing you to contact a lawyer.

I suggest you watch what you say from now on, and every single day until the Patriot Act is repealed.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE SPEECH UNDER THE BUSH REGIME. Remember it.

I had a conversation the other night about passively bringing down the government on a chat site. And i may just be being paranoid but there is a utility van parked over the road that i have never seen before. it has been there for 4 days now.
I am being serious and not jokeing.

I have many times because my beliefs are contrary to to the average person. I know, as so do many others, there is something just not right with the Bush and the royal family. Go to www.davidicke.com

So far ,no.But who knows?I have a feeling that only certain specific words attract attention, not to say that all others don't.But it is better to avoid inflammatory words.
