Why oh why do so many questions get asked that are easily googleable?? Nine times out of ten the first hit on a search gives the answer. Can some people simply not use Google???

My guess would be that the questions that are easily googleable are asked by people in the age 13 - 21, also known as the spoiled, lazy and selfish age.

People are lazy. It is easier for people to let others do the work for them.

Also, it is more *personal* if somebody looks up the answer for you. It is the same way when you have a reference librarian help you at the library.

Sometimes I think it is because people like having their sentiments justified by other people. Especially in relationship problems.

I have wondered the exact same thing. I guess nothing tops personal experience combined with complete idiocy.

Because Google is a machine, people want to hear from and talk to live human beings in real time.

Some people just prefer to rely upon other people's experience as opposed to an automated search engine.

Because it (googling) takes more time and questions, google doesnt really answer your questions. It gives you sites that answers your questions. And you know what one of those sites are? YAHOO ANSWERS!

Well I think becuase they like to feel like they are comversing with people. Some are too lazy i suppose some are too dum...lol who knows. Did you try googling this guestion?kidding

B/c it could take longer for the best answer when someone on Yahoo! Answers could already know it.
