If you have tried resetting the router and still can't access via
http://192.168.1.1
Then temporarily take your laptop next to the router.
Plug the Ethernet cable that currently goes from your Cable or DSL network bridge to the wireless router, from your laptop to any of the numbered ports on the wireless router.
Then try the http://192.168.1.1
Make sure you set your wireless router's password to something of your own choosing while you are doing this. Tape that password to the bottom of the router.
Once you have the settings on the router as you desire, remove the Ethernet cable from your laptop and re-insert it between the WAN port of the wireless router and the Cable or DSL network bridge.

Found this:
To access the set-up page of your router (http://192.168.1.1 ), push the reset button of your router at the back for about 10 sec., then make sure the PC is connected at the LAN ports 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 of your router, then open the browser then type in http://192.168.1.1 ...
If it won't make it... make sure that the internet protocol TCP/IP properties of your PC is set to obtain an IP address and DNS servers automatically...
1. go to network connection found under control panel
2. right click on local area connection, then click on properties
3. under general tab, highlight internet protocol TCP/IP , then click properties
4. then make sure it's set to obtain an IP address and DNS servers automatically.. click "ok" and click "close" button for the windows opened
5. try opening the router's set-up page again, it should open already, if not, reset the router again and reboot your PC.

install a firewall ( if you dont already have one and set it to maximum and dis allow everything and then go through the programs list and only allow what you use for example Internet explorer , any messengers such as msn, yahoo or w/e and also delete any message history and disable your messengers from keeping any history. Also do a virus and spyware scan in safe mode and ensure that you have updated all the defintions before running it. If you need suggestions with regards to anti virus or spyware let me know.

I can only access it from Internet Explorer, myself. Also, make sure that in Tools ->Internet Options -> Connections ->LAN Settings you have all checkboxes unchecked.
@The user above: it's the internal IP of his/her router.
