Quantum mechanics - the physics of the very small - cannot be reconciled completely with general relativity - the physics of the very large. (Large and small are not strictly accurate in this context, but it is near enough.)

The special theory of relativity is consistent with everything we know, including quantum mechanics. In fact, quantum electrodynamics (QED) is a merger of special relativity and quantum mechanics and is the best tested theory in history.

However, general relativity has never been merged with any quantum theory, so we know it has some gaps. There are also several proposals for theories of gravity that differ from GR such as MOND and TeVeS. On the other hand, we have no experiemental evidence of any result contradicting GR directly.
